Hello everyone! You probably noticed that I’m barely having some time to bake with uni and stuff! But I’m doing to manage and still come with easy quick delicious recipes like these Red Velvet Crinkle Cookies!
Super easy to make with ingredients you probably already have at home. These cookies are awesome because you can make the batter few days in advance, keep it chilled and then bake whenever you want!
I have to admit, these are coated with sugar but hey we live once right? So having some of these amazing red velvet crinkle cookies with coffee or tea afternoon is what I look forward to everyday!
These cookies are on the cakey side of cookies but they have a crispy texture to die for!

Red Velvet Crinkle Cookies
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar or dry sweetener of choice
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp red food coloring
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions

In a bowl, whisk the oil with the sugar. Add the eggs one at time and whisk until combined.

Add the red food coloring and stir.

Add the flour, vanilla, salt and baking powder. Mix until incorporated. Cover and chill the dough for at least 30 mins.

Preheat your oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper. Scoop 1 tbsp of batter, cover it with powdered sugar and put on the baking tray. Repeat until no batter remains.

Bake in preheated oven for 10-12 mins. Remove and let cool in the pan for another 10 mins before removing them. Enjoy!
