Hey guys! I made some Chocolate Tahini Spread or “Nutella” in disguise! I’m loving Tahini in sweet treats and this one is perfect. Nutty and chocolaty and yummy!
Chocolate Tahini Spread
- 20 small dates pitted
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder unsweetened
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
- 2 tbsp water
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon optional
Soak your dates in hot water for 10 mins and try to take the skin off to have a smooth spread texture.
Put all your ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth. Add more water if you need your spread to be more on the runny side.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for about 1 week.
