Cherry Cobbler

Hey guys! I’m so excited to share this recipe with you today! I can tell you it’s my new favorite summer recipe! This Cherry Cobbler is to die for.

I loooove cherries! It’a my favorite fruit! So I made this Cobbler and it’s so juicy so summary so fresh and yum!

I made a Blackberry Cobbler last year, it’s the same idea but this time with cherries and oh my! The result is jut amzing. I already made 2 pans in the weekend and I’m actually making it today for my friends too because it’s THAT good!

Cherry Cobbler

Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pitted cherries
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Juice and Zest of 1 small lemon

Topping

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar or dry sweetener of choice
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp water or as needed

Instructions

  • In an oven safe dish, mix the pitted cherries with cornstarch, honey, vanilla, lemon juice and lemon zest. Set aside.
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  • In a bowl, mix all topping ingredients. Add more water if dough is not coming together until it does. Divide the dough and place it on top of the cherries.
  • Bake the Cherry Cobbler for 20 mins until golden brown on top (turn the oven from the up too not only the bottom the last 5 mins).
  • Leave it to cool and you can serve it with vanilla ice cream! Enjoy!
