Servings: 22 medium bread balls
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp instant yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup yogurt plain
- 1/2 cup olives diced
- In a bowl, combine 1 cup flour, yeast, sugar and warm water. Cover and set aside for 10-15 mins.
- When the yeast is activated and bubbles start to form, add all other ingredients and mix by hand until a dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add more flour.
- Grease a pan with a bit of olive oil, divide dough to 20-22 equal balls and place them in the pan, leaving a little space between them. Cover and let rest for 1 hour.
- After 1 hour, each ball should double in size. Bake in preheated oven (200°C) for 15-20 mins or until golden brown on top.
