Hey everyone! I made my first batch of Baked Donuts (No Yeast) yesterday and I’m in love! Super easy to make for guilt free donuts!
Donuts recipes tend to have yeast in them so you have to wait for the yeast to be activated and for the dough to proof and and…. but here you don’t have to! Super quick dough, you just mix everything together and start shaping your donuts!

Baked Donuts (No Yeast)
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar or dry sweetener of choice
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup milk of choice
- 1 tsp white vinegar or lemon juice
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs at room temperature
- 4 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp melted coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2-3 tbsp milk of choice
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
First, mix the milk with white vinegar or lemon juice and set aside for the milk to curdle (about 5 mins).
Preheat your oven to 180℃ and line your baking pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
Add the curdled milk, oil and eggs and mix everything until a smooth dough forms. Dough should not be sticky so add more flour if needed.
Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface and use your palms to press the dough into desired thickness. Using a cookie cutter, cut the donuts then cut in the center with a smaller cutter. Gather the remaining dough and repeat the process until no dough remains.
Transfer the donuts to your baking tray and bake in preheated oven for 12-15 mins or until golden brown. Remove and let cool completely before glazing.
Mix all glaze ingredients together until smooth. Dip the cooled donuts and decorate with sprinkles or shaved chocolate.
