The combination of dates and nuts is well known among “healthy freaks” because it gives a good energy throughout the day. I took the basic recipe and added a coconuty lemony flavor which I fell in love with! Coconut makes everything better really. Eat these dates balls for breakfast or snack and they will boost you energy!
No Bake Energy Balls
- 1 cup date paste (or around 12 dates pitted and soaked in water for 1 hour then drained)
- 1 cup raw nuts (I used walnuts and pistachios)
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice optional
Mix everything in a bowl until a soft dough is formed.
Shape into balls (wet your hands with a bit of water so they don’t stick).
Refrigerate for 30 mins and enjoy!
